Blood and Tears "Blood Tools Pt.1"
"Von hinten und ganz tief unten schieben sich die förmlich in den Raum gallernden Techno Tracks der EP "Blood Tools" von Marco Danneberg von den Beinen hoch in die Großhirnrinde. Irgendwo dort, wo sich zwischen funktionaler Erhabenheit und brutal-verspielten Drones die ganz dreckigen Fantasien tummeln, ist im ersten Track "Breath" immer noch Platz für einen britzelnden High Hat Loop, der gleich die nächste Kaskade im Synapsenfeuerwerk anfeuert! Atmosphärisch dicht und mit einem schwerfälligen Break Beat macht er mit „Demise“ einen Ausflug in eine darke, musikalische Wirklichkeit, die vor allem eines ist: tanzbar. Der dritte Track "Thorax" brät danach weiter mit unverschämter Präsens und einem verschobenen LED-Sound Raum, Spannung und diese Ruhe, die der Wiederholung innewohnt, auf und macht so auf unmissverständliche Weise klar, dass da was brennt. Jetzt pulsiert "Muscle" durch den Raum. Rollend, sachlich und breit, muss Marco Danneberg spätestens hier nicht mehr beweisen, dass die Verbindung von DJ-Tool und konventionellem Track kein Kompromiss sein darf. Zusammen mit Remixen von Michael Schwarz, Mada, Ronan Dec und Niereich, ist "Blood Tools" eben mehr als ein Werkzeugkoffer für ordentlich drückenden, pumpenden Maschinenfunk! "
"From behind and pushed to the very low down the techno tracks from the EP "Blood tools" by Marco Danneberg are pushing the sound from the legs straight into the cerebral cortex. Somewhere where cavort between functional and brutal grandeur, playful Drones the whole dirty fantasies – in the first track, „Breath" is still room for a High loop. Atmospherically dense and with a heavy breakbeat he makes an excursion into a dark, musical reality, which is above all: to dance to. The 3rd track "Thorax" then continues with fries and a cheeky present LED-shifted sound to space, and this rest tension inherent in the repetition, and makes clear unequivocal manner, that something is burning. Now pulsates "muscle" through space. Rolling, pumping and wide, Marco Danneberg must prove at least not here, that may be the combination of conventional track DJ tool and not a compromise. Along with remixes by Michael Schwarz, Mada, and Ronan Dec and Niereich is "Blood Tools" more than just a tool box tidy for oppressing, pumping machinery radio!"
