9Volt. Not enough energy? No way buddy! With 9Volt there is a german label on the way to the top, which doesn’t need to be compared with others before. Experimental minimalism at its very best! The first release on this label comes from the mental buskers Andomat 3000 and Jan. It´s called “Selfmade ep“ and waits with four tracks combining funk with electrifying body movin´ background melodies which will break your hip-bones and make you miss the summer.
On the a-side the funky limping lines chucked on splendid shredded beats make you move like jumpin´ into a raspberry bush. The b-side is no change of course but like having a trip through the orchard of beats and bleeps, pickin´ some and mixing a cocktail of liquidized vocal snippets and broken beat boxes which will supply your body with crackling electricity.
So here we go, feel the energy of this 4-track e.p. and let the beat recharge your battery!
