just give your "experimental" stuff to other labels. if there are really good tracks saved in your laptop/ mac/ etc, they will be released by somebody....perhaps just a small label, but a label that wants to release cool music and not just a dj-tool.Mark Hawkins hat geschrieben:Ok, firstly I want to say forgive me if I'm not understanding everything here, my german is not so hot despite having been in Berlin for nearly 3 months, I hope you can understand what I'm saying in english here..
OK, everything is subjective, it's very easy to sit back and say how this artist or that artist has lost it or whatever because they don't make the same stuff as they used to. I appreciate constructive criticism, but time and time again I see on internet forums people dishing out their opinion.. Maybe they are entitled to it, I suppose everyone is, but times change, so does the music... To be honest, I try and send more experimental stuff to Djax, but it's not what saskia wants to put out, shes a hard techno DJ, she wants hard techno to play... not so sure if the 2 trax on the B side should have been put together, but the B1 can hardly be described as monotone.. The outcome has been positive though, after reading comments here it drove me back into the studio for 2 days to make the sickest stuff I could come up with, I have half an e.p. done and a new liveset, so I think something good came out of your comments! Well, this is what I have been doing, and I have a few more options, so experimental heads, don't worry, there is more freaked out wierd stuff on the way!Narayan hat geschrieben:
