Anton Prize - "De Rrrr!!"
It’s already the third realese of Funnwork Rec. and also this time it’s different than previous. From the beginning the Label
shows that is not only limiting to one type of music but also plays about house and tehno geners. De Rrr! Is an offer of French
producer Anton Prize. He is known from his original style and inspiration of film music. He presents four apparently different
but consistent in their unconventional style tracks on his EP. The title track De Rrr! Is a mystic and melancholic tech house with
clearly marked bass and guitar samples. The Papi Shulo track is an experimental connection of trumpet, piano and drum samples
and vocals. They are scattered around all track in a very chaotic way from the first hearing. But after a few phrases you can
hear it is considered idea with a strong beat. The Grimey Gentelman treats us in a gentle and deep way. That track enchants
with subtle accords of house piano and soft bass. On the other hand very kind ladies’ vocal, which appears in the second part of
the track propels it and gives it an unique dynamic and energy. Nefertoum is a dark tech house and has a strong impact on the
imagination. It is matching the movie inspiration of a producer from Toulouse correctly.
